Ira Curry Leadership Academy is divided into four
houses. The four Houses are called
Genesis,
Exodus,
Leviticus, and
Deuteronomy. Each House has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding students.
Houses at Curry are both the living and learning communities for its students. Each trimester’s group of students in the same House shares the same dormitory and many classes. The houses compete throughout the school year, by earning and losing points for behavior. The House with the most points wins the House Cup.
Each House also has its own
Ezekiel team that competes for the
Inter-House World Cup. These two competitions breed rivalries between the Houses, the greatest of which is that between
Genesis and
Deuteronomy. We pray each student will be a credit to whichever House they are
sorted into.
